THE BEGINNING
Arja Cajo was founded in Milan in 2019, inspired by an intimate moment and a simple need: to feel embraced.
While breastfeeding her daughter, Viola Cajo De Cristoforis felt the desire to transform that need for closeness into something tangible.
A professional photographer, she captures flowers, butterflies and details from nature through macro photography, bringing her images to fabric.
And so Arja Cajo was born: stoles that go beyond accessories, conceived as wearable embraces that make every woman feel welcomed and unique.

Precise, punctual and delightfully verbose. A little logic and a great deal of empathy. In 2019, she brought Arja Cajo to life.

The series shares women’s stories of birth and rebirth—the moment when you, as a woman, feel you have blossomed into the unique and remarkable person you are. Its purpose is to offer inspiration, courage and energy.
An opportunity to connect, learn and share. The video series will also inspire in-person events where women can meet one another.
